Who We Are
APPS Honorary Chairman Mike Rogers brings to the table 20 years of experience in top-level national security positions from the U.S. Army, to the FBI, to the Chairmanship of the House Intelligence Committee. He has traveled the globe, worked with two presidents, Congressional leadership, and countless foreign leaders, diplomats and intelligence professionals on America’s toughest national security problems. APPS utilizes Chairman Rogers’ unmatched expertise, think tank affiliations and is identifying prominent, national security and business thought leaders to get the right issues and questions in front of the candidates.
We will identify, educate and activate citizens on timely foreign policy issues. APPS will be the only organization connecting top foreign policy and business leaders with the grassroots activists driving the debate with the candidates in early presidential contest states. We seek to impact international engagement with a local, grassroots understanding. At forums and townhalls in these states, educated, volunteer activists will push candidates to fully outline their policies on major issues such as threats from Iran, Russia and China to ISIS, space and cyber.

In New Hampshire, the effort is being spearheaded by a former BAE Systems, Inc. CEO who ran for governor last fall. In South Carolina the effort involves a former U.S. congresswoman and a Medal of Honor recipient.
